Biography
As Colour Fades are a 5-piece post-hardcore band originating from West Auckland in New Zealand. Formed in 2009 for Smokefree Rockquest West Auckland, the band consists of 5 members: Conin on vocals, Jerr and Jamie on guitar, Rahul on bass and Sam on drums. Beaten by the SFRQ heats in 2009, the band continued to jam despite the blow to their confidence - playing gigs at local stages like The Element Building, Zeal West and Canfly Studios alongside other local talent Cast Them To Ruin, Awaiting The Storm, Every Man for Himself, Broken Avenue and international acts such as Scary Kids Scaring Kids and Of Mice & Men. Their new-gained confidence from the stage brought them back to Rockquest in 2010 where they came out in 1st place for the regional finals.
