"Tell Me Lies" is the 7th track from American pop singer Ashley Tisdale's second studio album, Guilty Pleasure. The song was released on October 9, 2009 along with the release of the album. The track was written by Tisdale, Emanuel Kiriakou, J. Cates, and Frankie Storm and was produced by Emanuel Kiriakou. It is the only song of the album to feature these writers.
Sonically, the song is a pop rock song with a powerfully emotional chorus. Lyrically, the song describes wanting to be told lies in a relationship than to face the fact that your significant other is no longer in love with you.
