Autobuss Debesīs is one of the early 21st century the most popular Latvian bands and invariably occupy an important place in the Latvian music today.
The band came together in 1998 in Rīga, Latvia when former schoolmates Marts Kristiāns Kalniņš and Emīls Zilberts decided to implement long-cherished dream and founded a band whose repertoire consists mainly of Imants Kalniņš music - both popular songs from various stages of composer and compositions specifically for this instrumentation.
Autobuss Debesīs actively concerts throughout Latvia, the band has participated in various large-scale festivals and major nationally events. It has performed several times outside the Latvian border - Finland, Germany and the United States.
