Axe Victims was a traditional heavy metal band formed in 1982 in Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. They released only one album called "Another Victim" in 1984. It was the highly respected first release on the Mausoleum label. Axe Victims got a first place in the booming Heavy-Rock scene and a big reputation as a kicking live band. They played countless festivals and toured with Lita Ford, Uli Roth and Golden Earring. The critics were enthusiastic and Axe Victims got more and more fans all over Europe. The big magazines like Kerrang or Metal Hammer saw a bright future for the band. Highlight of the spectecular live-show was the appearance of thehengman, who put out his axe with thunder and lighnting everywhere. Critics and fans were waiting for the second album to come, but unfortunately Axe Victims got in trouble with their record label Mausoleum. The company betrayed their bands and got out off business. As a result, all this bands were without a record deal all by a sudden.
