Biography
Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, this charismatic soul queen started her musical journey at age nine, performing in local talent shows and singing covers of powerful female artists like Aaliyah, Alicia Keys, and Whitney Houston. Years of writing, recording, and developing her craft have led her to Los Angeles, where she now calls home with her two brothers. Identifiable through her infectious melodies, clever rhythmic cadences, and unique raspy tone, Ayzha describes herself as a cross between Jhene Aiko and Gunna: infusing R&B, rap, and rhythmic elements into her sound. Ayzha’s remix of Chris Brown’s “No Guidance” is her most explosive viral moment to date, starting on Tik Tok but organically crossing all platforms. Her debut single “TLC” (to be released in Nov. 2020) will serve as the precursor to a full-length project coming in 2021. With all of life’s challenges, Ayzha considers music her sanctuary and continues to inspire others to be the best version of themselves. “I always say music is a universal language, full of vibration and energy” she explains. “I want my music to make people feel happy, confident, and self-aware.”
