Biography
Bad Gear is a YouTube music equipment review series, covering (almost) exclusively “the world’s most hated audio tools”, both modern and vintage.
The show is produced & presented by audio engineer & musician Florian Pilz, with each weekly episode consisting of a rendition of the show’s intro produced wholly or in part with the topical gear, followed by a description of its functionality, history, controversies, etcetera, then, a series of tracks produced with the aforementioned gear, gradually escalating in complexity from first to last, all capped off with a verdict, and outro.
