Balbina is a Polish-born German singer and songwriter.
At the end of the 1990s, because of her affinity with the Berlin hip-hop and rap scene, she came into contact with the independent label Royal Bunker, where she met numerous genre representatives such as Prinz Pi, M.O.R., K.I.Z and Biztram. With the latter she produced her first studio album Bina in 2011, and at the same time she had numerous appearances in smaller clubs, toured with the Atzen and featured Prinz Pi.
Since 2014 she has been accompanied live by Nicolas Rebscher (guitar, bass, piano), Tobias Rebscher (guitar) and Christian Vinne (drums).
In 2015, Balbina and her musicians supported Herbert Grönemeyer's permanent now tour. Balbina was long signed to Sony Music before releasing on her own label since 2020.
She was a songwriter on Herbert Grönemeyer's album Das ist los (2023).
