The text from Jon on the BB6 site strongly implies that this is a separate entity, but he's definitely confusing people with the whole 'VAST Presents..' thing. And the same site also describes it as the newest release from VAST. Either way, it's awesome.

Bang Band Sixxx is a fictional band in Crosby's book, from what I've heard. VAST brought the fantasy to life with this EP. I think Last.fm is as confused about it as the rest of us -- I have mega scrobbles of the tracks in this album under both artist names. ;P Whatever, it's Jon!
