There are two groups with this name:
A local Canberra band in Australia, played many gigs over a couple of years.
Barrel of Monkeys also refers to a Chicago theater and education company, which teaches creative writing workshops in Chicago Public Schools and adapts the kids' stories into live theater. In 2005 they self-released a CD of songs adapted from stories in the program, entitled "Monkeys Come Alive."
