There are at least three acts called Barrel:
1) Heavy-metal band from Latvia
2) Skate-hardcore band from Pilsen, Czech republic.
3) Emo from Georgia, US.
1) Barrel is a notable four-piece alternative rock / heavy metal band from Liepāja, Latvia formed in 1999. Band have already taken part in concerts in Latvia, as well as in other Baltic states.
Current lineup consists of:
Jānis Buķelis - guitar, vocals;
Ivars Lūsēns - guitar;
Dainis Pusaudzis - bass guitar;
Lauris Ivinsks - drums.
Former members:
Artūrs Bolsunovskis - bass guitar, back vocals.
