Biography
Before Cars is an American rock and alternative folk band from Seattle, WA fronted by Chad Channing (ex-Nirvana).
After having played in many other bands (noticeably, Fire Ants and The Methodists), Chad formed Before Cars together with his good friends, Justine Jeanotte, Paul Burback and Andy Miller. They recorded a demo of some songs Chad had written over the years, going back to even before Nirvana. A local label, Flotation Records, showed interest and, in late 2006, they recorded the single "Old Chair"/"99 To Go". After that, they started working on a full length album, "Walk Back", with producer Jack Endino, which was released on 16 June 2009.
Before Cars toured Europe and America, and their second album, "How We Run", was released on 26 February 2013.
