Before the Betrayer is a deathcore band from West Sand Lake, New York. They are known for their crushing breakdowns, technical death metal and hardcore influences. The band has been gaining some notability and is continuing to fair well in the Troy/Albany metal scene and has played with known band names such as Oceano, Boris the Blade, Martyr Defiled, Rings of Saturn and Beneath the Massacre.
