Biography
Before the Betrayer is a deathcore band from West Sand Lake, New York. They are known for their crushing breakdowns, technical death metal and hardcore influences. The band has been gaining some notability and is continuing to fair well in the Troy/Albany metal scene and has played with known band names such as Oceano, Boris the Blade, Martyr Defiled, Rings of Saturn and Beneath the Massacre. The band has released a demo but later released a new demo with their new vocalist JJ Lavery. A single was released sometime in January 2014 and is available for fans to download on various online stores. In the spring of 2014, their first self-debuted EP was released entitled "Our Democracy is Your Dictatorship" and can be purchased from Google Play, iTunes, Amazon and many other online stores. The band has new unfinished material and is currently on hiatus status.
