Biography

The Bendaly Family is a Lebanese family band with 12 children, all of them musicians.

One evening, totally unexpectedly, the Bendaly Family appeared on a TV show. From there on, their lives took a dramatic turn. Their crazy shaman-esque rock'n'roll appealed to millions. Or perhaps thousands. The Bendaly family enjoyed it anyway. They became the Von Trapps on Lebanese acid.

I like them. And I'm not a member of their family, so I am unbiased.

Micheline, Rene, Dora (lead singer), Fadia, Norma, Roger, Yolla, Sonia, Hania, Nadia, Randa and Fadi. Yolla sadly passed away in 2003.
The video for the song 'Do You Love Me' was taken 1978 in Kuwait when the Bendaly family visited Kuwait for the first time.
