Expected some really boring and generic symphony metal with female vocals. Actually sounds quite good. I’ll listen to this band a bit more.

Just listened to a couple of tracks off of it. The opener, "Is There Anybody Out There?", was probably the best.

I love them, but each album there's like 3 or 4 PERFECT songs, and the other 10 songs are like skippable tracks haha.

even with them not being on my favourite releases on the recent times, I've been really admiring how they've managed to handle the pandemic on terms of promotion and activity. They've managed to keep their social networks active during the whole period without being repetitve and did the live show scheme seem less predictable with their acoustic sets. they seem to be building a little but loyal fanbase with that

Tbh I'm not really checking out new bands in this genre but they come from just around the corner where I live and seem to get super hyped atm so I got curious. Also because I saw they'll be touring (maybe, lol) with Amaranthe who I really like. First impression after the first song: They sound like Visions Of Atlantis, pretty cheesy but I kinda like it, it's a very nostalgic sound to me.

Is it just me, or do the titles of their songs sound like the guys were inspired by all possible rock and metal hits?

Saw them on the Wacken stream, really good stuff. I was expecting something along the lines of Nightwish or Amaranthe but was met with a more traditional flair than loads of orchestral theatric keyboard but still symphonic elemtns. Soaring solo's, great riffs and songs that have heaps of melody. The ballads were just epic and beautiful. Seriously impressive, no doubt they'll be taking the metal world by storm in the future.

I don't know how good they are in general, but what I've heard is very charismatic and emotional power or even gothic metal. They have a personality and this is the main thing.

Wounded Healer is a good song, the Within Temptation "Resist" inspiration is clearly noticable. The BIG problem is the awful mixing, everything sounds flat and muddy, which can be verified as Jennifer and Elize are amazing singers, in Wounded Healer they sound so flat and unpowerful.

They absolutely do! It’s amazing to see how far they’ve come since the debut. I remember when the listeners count was barely in the hundreds on here, and now it’s almost at 32k.... fantastic effort :). They posted a teaser about 18 hours ago, maybe we’ll get a taste of the next album sooner than expected

As a fan of pop music, I honestly don't think it's disappointing to record and perform songs you haven't written. On the other hand, rock/metal bands are really in a different position but it has a lot changed on the latest release and it seems that the band has been way more involved in the songwriting process (when you take a look at the booklet/credits). Time will tell if they can grow as a band; right now they seem more like a crossover/hybrid of a band and project.

I respect your opinion since I'm a fan of pop music too but to me there's nothing like an artist that actually writes their own music, it feels more genuine I guess. I find it disappointing because I'm not used to seeing metal bands doing this kind of thing and that's why I can't compare them to NW or WT, those bands are on a league of their own, but yeah I saw that too and I'm glad they are getting more involved in the songwriting process. So far, they have three amazing albums so I can't wait to see what they'll do in the future.

I agree that is better than EFMB, but Nightwish not, please. The albums with Tarja and Anette are incredible.
