Bill Amirsjah-Rondahaim Saragih Garingging (born in Sindar Kingdom, Simalungun, North Sumatra, January 1, 1933 - died in Jakarta, 29 January 2008 at age 75 years) was one of jazz music maestro Indonesia
In 1978 he began to learn how to teach jazz music in greater depth with, first, won a diploma from Berkeley College of Music through Berkeley Correspondence Course. He later studied at the David Baker of the University of Indiana, United States, and Jamey Aebersolo about teaching jazz improvisation. After that, between the years 1979-1988, he became Director and Lecturer at the Bill Saragih Musical Services.
