Biography
Billa and the Kid is a band from Sogndal, Norway. The band is made up of vocalist Bjørn Rune ”Billa” Nondal, vocalist/guitarist/harmonica player Gunnar Yttri and in later years guitarist/mandolin/dobro/banjo/lap-steel/etc. player Inge Ronny Kvåle.
Billa and the Kid has been given blame for their strong lyrics on sex, drugs and rock&roll, but still manage to surprise with emotionally charged poems and beautiful melody.
When playing live, Billa and the Kid has been performing together with members of e.g. Fabel or Utopia. Their musical style stretches from folk, country to rock & roll, tango and blues.
