Biography
During the tour with KAL (2008-2011), three longtime friends have agreed to begin original work based on the musical experience gained over the years. The three of them (Goran Savic-drummer, Aleksandar Cvejic-bass player, Aleksandar Srejic-sound engineer) formed the band Bizar Bazar in 2009.
The group was joined by Saša Dušanovic, singer and multi-instrumentalist, whose family has for generations been engaged in music (his mother is a bass player:)).
Their musical expirience extends from funeral orchestras, through groups Ništa Ali Logopedi, Arhai, Kal, Svi Na Pod, MVP, Olea and many others to wedding orchestras.
The recording of the album is attended by over thirty guests from home and abroad: Yves Beraud-accordion, Povedano Paloma Diaz on vocals, Adrian Lever-tambura, Francesco Quero-percussion, Ivan Mirkovic Bamby-guitar, šargija, Jovana Backovic-vocals, piano, Ivan Teofilovic-clarinet, Vladimir Mladenovic-guitar, Ivan Gojkovic-guitar, Tamara Cvejic-flute, Bojana Vunturiševic-vocals, Aca Dušanovic Orchestra, Kultur Shock and many others.
Album was recorded and mixed at TSS Studio in Belgrade and produced by Alexander Srejic and Goran Savic.
Mastering was done by Jeff Reeves Masterdisc studio in New York, known for its work with groups: Sonic Youth, Pixies, Gorillaz, Nirvana, U2, The White Stripes and well-known authors such as Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, John Zorn and others.
