Biography
Blast Wagon is the project of hyperactive musical virtuoso Max Schramm. Cut from the same cloth as D-I-Y icons as Ian Mackaye and Jason Molina, Blast Wagon is constantly evolving and exploring new directions. In the space of two short years Schramm has released 5 albums and multiple EPs, each with its own distinctive sound and feel. Blast Wagon has been referred to as "Post-Emo," and Indie Blues. Most of Blast Wagon's material is recorded at Down Colorado Junction Studios in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Schramm is occasionally accompanied by Anna Ponto on backing vocals and violin.
