Biography
Blindustry is a Skate-Punk-Rock band from Kulltorp/Gnosjö in Southern Sweden. Blindustry started up 2004 with Olof Utterström on drums, Marcus(Mac)Strömberg on Bass and Kristoffer (Happy) Glad on Lead vocals and Guitar. The first year they played almost only covers but then they started up doing some own songs. They were very poppy in the beginning, but then they started to get a little more skate. In the fall of 2005 Niclas Staberg Joined the band on Guitar, so the music got more powerful. They Recorded their first demo in the beginning of year 2006. It contained 4 songs: K of Punk, My Fellow, Hate and Mongo. They did a few gigs in and around Gnosjö, and also went to the semi-finals in "Musik-driekt" (swedens biggest competition for young musicians) but they did'nt go on to the finals. They also did a few more gigs in Jönköping (where "Musik-direkt was held).
They were also going to record a new demo in march 2007, but they got double-booked in the studio one time and the other time their recorder/producer were sick. Then, in the early summer of 2007 Niclas left the band, but Olof, Kristoffer and Markus decided to keep the band together after all… After writing a few new, harder songs they went to the studio once again, for real this time. On the 1st and 2nd september 2007 they recorded their new EP, Going to School is like eating shit…
