Four (styled as four) is the breakthrough album by American jam band Blues Traveler, released on September 13, 1994.
Four peaked at #8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (North America) and is most known for its hit "Run-Around". According to the RIAA, the album has six Platinum certifications.
"Run-Around" peaked at #2 in the Adult Top 40 in 1995, and "Hook" peaked at #8 in the Mainstream Top 40 in 1996.
* The song "Hook" shares the same harmonic structure as Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D.
* "The Mountains Win Again" was used in advertisements for Busch Beer.
* The Black Cat logo was created by Darren Greene.
