Biography
Throughout his many years working in the electronic dance scene, Boris Segal has distinguished himself from his peers with his ability to craft engaging atmospheres and rousing scores that not only complement and enhance the numerous projects he’s worked on, but are also recognized and praised by DJs, gamers and moviegoers alike. His themes range from dark energetic and upbeat to emotive to simply macabre and otherworldly, as best demonstrated by his acclaimed production for The Eleventh Sun Project. Since 2008, he has steadily gained recognition from fans and labels for his work with his brother “Benjamin Segal”, with his work on The Eleventh Sun, launching him to the forefront of the dark electronic dance scene & videogame music world.
Boris has applied his life-long passion for composition through private studies and a formal musical education at the Trebas Institute in Toronto, and has a gained a strong foundation in the music business during his time. As a long time production partner Jacob Segal and a colleague of renowned composer Matt Scholey, Boris stands poised to top his past achievements and looks forward to applying his signature sound to many more projects in the future.
