The Haarlem four piece band around frontman January Doetjes should really be in the Blues scene no real surprise, even if you do not hear that much about them. January wimps has been active as a singer of his own bands and as a guest to see a lot of other groups. He has a good voice, excellent performance and a typical lot of humor in his shows always are. January also knows to always surround himself with the best musicians. Of course this band has a number of times changed people, but they are still there, and better if ever I think.
The Boules Blues band from 2 people to The BBR band sitting in his company, which is especially wrong. Ruud Hull is a very energetic drummer and a guitarist Bonne Van Den Heuvel that big loose tongues regularly makes. His great love Rory Gallagher puts it not to hide but is cross-above all. Artistically, this man in any case a lot of milk to crumble, just read more on Google what he has done. Leo Verkruissen is an old hand in the ak, and has leapfrogged Ron Black on bass guitar. These men all have one thing in common, and that is that they love the blues, and you can hear that on this disk.
This band is not just a blues band, I can tell, but one with a touch, a touch Voodoo been said. Many songs are soaked in a Voodoo tinted jacket, which is totally worth it so dark and dark sounds. The band plays covers, but so very different, and the shows are very popular in the scene.
Big Bad Boy, is exactly what the title explores in my experience, a solid blues band has matured well, mostly not afraid to reveal their identities to dare to give, and then also fine pens and compose their own songs.
In this line, this band has long made itself heard, although the boys of the BBR band still going strong there, and why not?
