Bouts-Rimés is an electronic project of the Saint-Petersburg based composer / pianist Maxim Kondratov, who also works in the genre of minimalism / neoclassicism. Max’s music draws on multiple varying influences, ranging from Gesualdo to Ives and Pärt, and from Terry Riley to Björk and Yorke.
The project's debut took place in 2015 with the release of the Album 1 (Sense/Net Label). "The album is an intriguing set of techno tracks, with playful bleepy melodies atop lullaby-like chords. At points it ventures towards the minimal, micro-house end of things, at others it dips its toes in deeper, ambient waters" (Aidan Hanratty / The Thin Air).
