I don't ever wanna go to bed... I don't care if it's later. I'm gonna say it's laid her.

PS @ Sean what do you mean this song doesnt go anywhere? it is different than their other tracks, but it drifts and entangles you in a totally lovely seduction, maybe it doesnt "go" anywhere but i wouldnt want it to go anywhere else!

Probably my least favourite on the album. It just doesn't seem to go anywhere....

If you listen to this expecting to hear "laid her on the bed" then you'll hear it. If you listen expecting to hear "later on the bed" you'll hear that. Or at least that's what I've realized. But the more I REALLY listen, the more it seems to be "later on the bed". Wouldn't it make a little more sense if it was, anyways?

can't trust lyric sites, guys. if it's not straight from the band, it's not 100% guaranteed. i'm pretty sure it's actually "later on the bed", because at the end of the song he clearly sings "later in bed." knowing brand new, they made it confusing and open-ended on purpose. whatever, this song is great. has a dreamy, delirious quality.. really pretty.

it's "laid her": http://www.songlyrics.com/brand-new/bed-lyrics/ one of my favourites off daisy, for the lyrics alone.
