With the intent to create a strong presence in the Ottawa music scene, Brave The Third is an edgy, alternative rock band that delivers driving, powerful songs.
Co-founded by guitarist Paul Lafrenière and singer Nicolas Grant in 2011, the band is pulled forward with relentless force by each member, with Alex Ferland on rock-steady drums and Matt Villeneuve on bass.
Their debut EP, … And The Infection Spreads, builds a strong foundation for the band’s sound and sets them apart in the music scene. From “Over Again”, with its driving main guitar riff and catchy chorus, to “Mary”, a haunting melody that grips at your heartstrings, Brave The Third demonstrates its ability to create memorable songs and draw listeners into their sound. Constantly pushing the boundaries of their sound, and with firm eyes set on the horizon, this band is here to stay.
