Biography
Break Bread is a hip hop supergroup based around members of the Winnipeg hip hop scene. It features Canadian MCs Gruf, McEnroe, Pip Skid, Yy, John Smith and Hunnicut.
They released the Break Bread EP in 2004. Each of the five early members took responsibility for conceptualizing one of the five tracks, resulting in a more cohesive and close-knit sound on many of the tracks than on many other 'supergroup' records.
