Biography
There are two artists with this name. One is a male German hip hop artist. The other is a female jazz vocalist.
Brenna Clerkin (female jazz vocalist) writes this about herself on her web site:
"My passion for music started early performing musical theater, risking life and limb dodging deer in the mountains of Virginia to make it to open mic nights with Thao (of the Get Down Stay Down), followed by four years in a university a cappella group, then moving to Paris crashing jazz sets at Bilboquet and Chez Papa on Rue Saint Benoit, daring underground jam sessions in foreclosed buildings in the 19th arrondissement, meeting up with the fantastic crew at Wewok Production in Paris, and working with Phil Augusta Jackson at Cutting Room Studios in NYC. I'm currently working to self-produce my first jazz/folk album."
"My sound comes from a mix of my harmonic a cappella background and my high school days as a folk singer, blended with a natural jazz vocal tambour (think adult entertainer phone operator). Harmonies have been compared to dissonant Erykah Badu, tambour a cross between Corrine Bailey Rae and Eva Cassidy. "
