Biography
Brennan Rhys Jones is a rapper and fashion influencer from Jacksonville, Florida. He first began making music in March of 2024.
Before rapping, he gained prominence in the underground fashion scene for his mixture of avant-garde styles like Sterling Ruby with conventional attire, as well as styling many underground rappers. From his work in fashion, he made connections with many underground producers and rappers, most notably experimental artist Edward Skeletrix, who encouraged him to begin rapping and is credited with creating his career as a rapper.
His first song, Duval, became very popular due to his unconventional style of rapping. He was one of the first modern underground artists to utilize ragebait as a promo method, gaining attention for his race and for sarcastic comments praising Hitler and Kanye West.
Brennan broke out of the fashion underground scene and into the main underground scene with his single FashionTrappin, which remains his most-streamed song on Spotify with over 2 million streams. His debut album, Brennan Jones 1, released on September 13, 2024. In early 2025, his music would begin to be associated with a scene on TikTok called "giftok", alongside artists such as Rroxket and hollowtiphero.
Brennan consistently cites Skeletrix as his mentor, inspiration, and best friend, alongside other artists in the experimental-fashion-underground style, such as 1of1kingsley and BeenSlackin. In what is believed to be a move advised by Skeletrix, personal information about Brennan is scarce, as he has wiped his Instagram clean of any connections to Jacksonville or his high school.
