There are at least two bands named Brigand.
In 2011, an alternative rock/doom band named Brigand was formed in Pančevo/Belgrade, Serbia; and its members are Velibor Nikolić(guitar, vocals), Ilija Kojović(bass), Stevan Radoičić(guitar) and Andrej Mladenović(drums). After two singles "Malarme"(2011) and "Okovan"(2012), their first studio album “Zaplešimo Grešnici”(Swing You Sinners) came out in 2013 on Black Planet Records label. The band is currently in process of writing their next studio album, working title “Sektaški Obredi Na Grobu Našeg Bivšeg Predsednika” ("Occult Performances At The Grave Of Our Former President”).

Brigand have ceased activities on June 6th, 2023.
There is also a demo band formed in 2007, and is based in Tallahassee, Florida.
