Biography
Herman Brood (Zwolle, November 5, 1946 – Amsterdam, July 11, 2001) was a Dutch rock musician, painter and media personality. Brood was the Dutch personification of "sex, drugs and rock 'n roll".
Henny Vrienten (Tilburg, July 27, 1948 - Diepenheim, April 25, 2022) was a Dutch composer of TV- and film-scores. He used to be the singer, songwriter and bass guitar player of the popular eighties ska pop band "Doe Maar".
Together, they released a single called 'Als je wint' ('If you win') in January 1984. It was a hit peaking at #10 in the Dutch Top 40 and #22 in the Belgian charts. The single was officially credited to Brood en Vrienten, but Herman Brood & Henny Vrienten is the most commonly used name for this duo on Last.fm.
