Biography
Buddha On The Moon is a shoegaze band from Houston, Texas. It was started as a bedroom four-track project in 1992 by HK Kahng. The name of the band was inspired by a scene from a still-to-be-determined classic sci-fi film that JJ Heldmann saw during summer break that year. The band grew into a four-piece with JJ on bass, Tracy Barnwell on guitar and vocals, and Ron Rushing on drums and windchimes. Jason Carriera replaced Ron on drums.
