The son of two hard working Jamaicans, Jordan R. Newell better known as Burna J. Born on September 8th 1987 in Queens NY. Burna J discovered his talent as a musical artist at the age of 12. He started writing and recording songs at the age of 14. Shortly after his 18th birthday Burna J moved to Florida. The artists that influence his music were Bob Marley Buju Banton, Lost Boyz, Mase, and Beres Hammond just to name a few. Burna J now resides Tampa Fla. Smashing every club Insight
