Calcinha Preta is a Brazilian electronic forró band, formed on December 8, 1995 in the city of Aracaju, by businessman and music producer Gilton Andrade. Currently, it has as vocalists: Daniel Diau, Silvânia Aquino and Bell Oliver.
The band is known for its characteristic romantic forró, for the super produced shows, bold costumes and for the numerous formations that it had throughout its history.
Most of the group's hits are actually versions of international rock and pop classics. Romanticism still prevails, with most lyrics being about love and relationships. One of the band's hallmarks is the wide use of the solo guitar in the songs, being one of the first electronic forró bands to put this instrument as the main element, instead of the accordion.
