It's kinda funny, but when you put last three albums on shuffle, it'll sound like same album. I'm not quite sure is it bad or not, but I miss era when their albums have different sound, mood and atmosphere. Dynamic The Awakening, than more dark and adult Say Hello to Tragedy and I am Nemesis with another sound again and guitar tricks. Damn, even album covers were different: last three have same color palittre. I'm not trying to offend Caliban or something, it's my favorite band and i love every album they made. But, it'd be great to hear something new a bit of them)

They probably ran out of creative ideas after all these years, happens to most bands. But even new stuff is still good

Beloved and the Hatred to Say Hello to Tragedy era is my favorite. Pure metalcore with that melodic riffage. Loved I Am Nemesis as well, a bit different and them branching out but still awesome. Where the sound started to go away from what I like was at Ghost Empire. Still enjoy Ghost Empire but the albums after that the djent sound started taking over to much and I don't like there new sound as much.

I don't necessarily agree. "The Opposite From Within" and "The Undying Darkness" was the era of Caliban without any musical identity. There were still some signs of being more than a generic metalcore band, some thrash metal riffs and more raw hardcore based ones, but some tracks sound like low budget Killswitch Engage copy (with pretty bad cleans...) and most of typical core riffs sounds surprisingly similar to classic As I Lay Dying. Those were the days when In Flames were their co-producers and they didin't know how to put good metalcore sound for this band. "The Awakening" and "Say Hello To Tragedy" was completly different time period for this band for me. New co-producer (Benny Richter, he's a true GOAT for me), reimagined sound, great lyrics, breakdowns, everything was working perfectly. 2007-2009 was their peak. My highschool times, wish my parents have more money to fund me more concerts, I was at only one in this time period, lol.

Dystopia is an absolute amazing album! First album I've ever heard from them. Very impressed. Christoph from Annisokay being on it gives it bonus points.

"NICHts" really reminds me of the best of the best Architects recordings. Very excited for upcoming EP. Mostly because of the new, german version of "I Will Never Let You Down". I love this song since I was a teenager.

I really liked the latest album "Elements" 2018. The previous ones do not like that much. Yes, there is a lot of jent, but it's even more melodic. I've been listening to him for half a year, and still I find great songs, which I look in a new way. Now "Set Me Free" on repeat. A month ago, "I am Fear". Earlier, the first three tracks circle listened to. Strong and good album. Even on jogging I turn it on)

I am Nemesis is definitely their best album. I only just can say this now, after all this years (2012...) But early stuff of theirs are great too. Shadow Hearts and The Undying Darkness still are very important for me, so many memories in school period/in my youth/adolescence. I am 26 now. I am Nemesis remembers me great moments too, with my friends, all of us listening Caliban. This band marked great part of my my life until then. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷.

After two lukewarm albums, Elememts is surprisingly good. Easily best since I Am Nemesis, maybe even better than that.

The new version of Forsaken Horizon sounds amazing. That's why for me new Caliban (from 2009 until now) > old Caliban.

Must say, "Elements" is probably the best Caliban album since "The Undying Darkness".

What shit do you fucking saying? I Am Nemesis is a masterpiece. Ghost Empire is Good, ok album, Gravity is a litle bit weak, Elements is a return to Good form. Best album since I Am Nemesis. The Undying Darkness is a great, only weak album from Caliban since Shadow Hearts is Gravity 7/10.
