Music has never sounded so SWEET as the sultry Hip-Hop Soul sounds of CandySoul. Not only is she a vocalist with perfect pitch, she excells in acting, singing, and vocal arranging. CandySoul has been making a name for herself in the realm of acting, singing, and performing for over 10 years.
This natural born entertainer grew up in North Little Rock, Arkansas, but pursued her dreams in Memphis and Atlanta. Although her skills were apparent, at young age, it wasnt until the age of 17 that she became serious about breaking into the music industry. She has been blessed to tour China with the University of Memphis musical ensemble Sound Fuzion, achieved HOLLYWOOD success on the hit show American Idol, background for K.Michelle on the R. Kelly Tour, and recently held a leading role in the stage play Private Lies.
These are few of her many accolades. CandySoul has won several talent contests, was crowned "Composer of the Year", and has over 10 years of vocal and production experience. Randy of American Idol says "She can DEFINITELY sing"and B.E.T.'s Vickie Johnson says that CandySoul has the "IT" factor! This TRIPLE-THREAT singer/songwriter/music producer would be a valuable asset to any label and a cure for the Sickening mediocrity in the industry today.
