Capitaine Révolte was a Quebec Punk-Rock band formed in Saint-Jean Sur Richelieu in 1999. The founding members were Frédéric Gagné (guitar, vocals, lyrics and music), and Marie-Claude-Joly-Bergeron (violin, vocals, piano). The band took 3rd prize in the 2000 Cégeps Rock contest, and 1st in the 2001 contest.
In 2007, after a 2 year sabbatical, the band reformed with Fred and Marie as well as Judith Sun (bass), Françis Paré (drums) and Yanic Cloutier (guitar).
The group has since disbanded and formed a new group Glycérine Machine.
The band released two albums with Indica label. Un Jour Les Taureaux Nous Mangeront... (One day the bulls will eat us) in 2001, and Danse Sociale in 2007.
