Capricho (http://vivacapricho.com) is the science of rhythm, harmony, and free spirit.
With strong roots in the Gypsy rhythms of flamenco and rumba of southern Spain origin, Capricho always makes sure to spice up its sound by incorporating elements from Cuban guajiras, Brazilian jazz, and even a touch of reggae in order to create a unique fusion of music. Their fast-paced, fiery strumming; exotic, passionate and catchy melodies, complimented by their rigorous technicality will be sure to captivate one and all.
Capricho was formed in early 2007 from a series of spontaneous musical interactions that evolved into a formal flamenco fusion group through myriad performances at various venues and events in the Boston area. They are currently in the process of recording their debut album and filming their first music video, which together will capture the essence of their style.
