CASIA - casia-lyric@hotmail.com

Current Status - January 2010: I just finished production of a song dedicated to the tragedy in Haiti called "Bleeding Hearts". Please take a listen and feel it in your heart to donate to one of the registered charities in your country. A personal thank you to: Bjorn Pehrson (Sweden), Jessica Rasche (USA), Pascal Borowczyk (France), Tracy Knight (USA), Alberto Quadri (Italy), Cory Frey (USA). Enrico Nichelatti (Italy), and Rab (Scotland). A special thanks to Michael Woodford (Germany) who is putting together a little video for us.

I am currently working hard on my new album "Destiny's Fire" with Yolande Strauss (South Africa), Adam Kirby (USA), Matt Kaprelian (USA) and Enrico Nichelatti (Italy). We should have two new songs posted this month and I'll be vamping up to begin promotion of our album…can't wait!

What did I get myself into :)? I am organizing a group of ten musicians from the USA to put together "Wired" magazine's album in a month for February. We are called the "Gigootzonians" and our album will be called "The Gweetz Experiment". This will be my first time collaborating with this group but they are anxious to get started and I have a ton of lyric ideas floating around in my head. You can follow us here: http://www.rpmchallenge.com/component/option,com_comprofiler/Itemid,296/?mosmsg=Your+settings+have+been+saved.

I will also be writing lyrics for the "Album in a Month" with Kompoz again so look forward to hanging out with this group as well for the month. Our last year's album turned out amazing…considering our timeframe.

I'm excited to let you know that my band "Benny and the Misplaced Texans" should have several new songs completed soon that will be available on i-tunes for all our fans. Thanks Benny Moore (Texas), Henry Mittnatch (Germany), Andy Gupta (Canada) and Ian Burrage (England). Check out "Never Thought" just completed: http://www.indiemusicworks.com/misplaced_texans

I am pleased to let everybody know that we have a new member in our group, Dave Patterson (Vancouver, Canada). I did my very first on-line collaboration with Dave called "Dark Demons". This song actually hit "No. 1" on Ourstage and has been voted song No. 1 for a CD Rock compilation as well. Not only is Dave a "Hot Rocker Guitarist" he is an amazing painter and I've used one of his paintings for my album "Destiny's Fire" with Yolande Strauss. Welcome Dave, can't wait to move forward with some of your tunes xxx.

My epic rock album from Stonehinged: "Trevor and Roger's 13 Stygian Tales" has been at a bit of a stand-still due to "real-life" activities lol! But I guarantee you, that we have some "heavy stuff" coming your way, right guys…Ian Burrage (England), Jay Schankman (USA), Billy Playle (England), Andy Gupta (Canada). And, to prove it, check out our latest single "Mary Ann": http://www.indiemusicworks.com/stonehinged.

Radio Casbah will be launching its new website soon. An internet radio station that I am involved with streaming out of Ashville and Austin, USA. I'll keep you informed. http://www.radiocasbah.com/

Jan. 20th - I need to write a lyric for Victoria Linskaya of Russia asap. Her husband created an amazing tune. She is doing a music video and I'm very excited about that. It would be my first real "music video"….must concentrate!!!

The World of STONEHINGED…During the latter half of 2008 a motley group of unlikely musicians from across the world started work on a crazy musical project. Guided by the firm hand of Casia the boys began developing idea's for an album of rock songs with a rather wacky sideways view of life …… madness to blow your socks off….Enjoy the lunacy!!! 2010 release.
