Biography
Cedars of Lebanon is a solo endeavour by Anthony Michael Couri - drummer of the now defunct sludge,post-metal/experimental band, Minsk.
The project's music is described as "Spiritual Music for Spiritual People". And, basically, that's the case - the sounds are full of spirituality from the Far East - wonderful Arabic-like atmosphere, which sounds similar to some of Dead Can Dance's tracks, but stripped from all the vocals, with a much darker feeling in them and much more experimentation and ambience.
