The Bio
So in September 2008 the band One Kill Later consisting of Anthony Romano, Johnny Brownlie, Tyler Thornhill and Shannon Kennedy, were looking for a bass player to play Punktoberfest with them. That’s when they met Chris Hardcore, the former bass player for bands such as “The Hardcore Riots” and “Hang Your Heroes”. Anthony and Chris met at Newmarket High and smoked a shit ton of pot. They played Punktoberfest and it was fucking sweet.
People didn’t really like the name, and it really wasn't suiting the new music we were writing. Chris came up with the new name, Charlotte Swallows and it stuck INSTANTLY. Unfortunately Shannon didn’t like the new name and fought with us tooth and nail not to change it.
In the end she left, even when we offered her the position of band manager. I guess she really fucking hated the name, eh?
Now we're on the road bringing our music, and our message to the world.
So it’s time to get fucking drunk and stoned and listen to the same old shit.
Charlotte Swallows is a Skacore band out of Newmarket, Ontario.
