Biography
Cheery-O is a Belgian DJ / producer duo consisting of Deejay G.A and Steppa. They are known for their ability to travel between music styles from pop to the darkest bass music.
Everything started from two projects originating from completely different musical backgrounds in Brussels, Belgium. On the one side, Deejay G.A, beatmaker and DJ, gets most of its infuence from US hip hop and trap. On the other side, Steppa, DJ/ producer, influenced by the electronic music world. In 2016, these two artists decided to join forces to create a new eclectic duo under the name of “Cheery-O”.
On the studio side, Cheery-O has been an actor of the music industry for 4 years now. They are constantly working on their sounds to offer different vibes on each release. They have released songs in labels such as Nouveau Riche, Club Jersey, Broderskab Flex Up records or even the Yellow Claw’s label: Barong Family. They have already worked with producers like Lucas Rezza (IT), Grizzy (FR), DRPX (MAL), Menasa (NL), 4korners (USA) to name a few.
Cheery-O is also the creator of the "Eight-O-Eight" concept, a side project proposing radio shows and special parties aiming to develop a Bass music community in their native country: Belgium.
