ChinYi was created in Granada, Spain, by Pablo Medina who released the first demo Chi in 2004 with a widespread underground acclaim. In march 2009 the band grew up and now the line-up includes Francis Mas on drums, Enrique Castillo (Las barbas indómitas) on keyboards and Oscar Pérez on bass and guitar. ChinYi’s style is dark and gloomy at once dramatic and emotional, his sound is deliriously and sardonically frolicking with rock, cabaret, punk, electronics and experimental music.
