Biography
Choking Hazard is a Melodic Metalcore/Mathcore band from Kent County, Maryland. They are AMAZING. They consist of Jeremy Johnson on lead guitar, Alex Adams on rhythm, Anna Black with clean vocals, Griffin Long with harsh vocals, Tyler Evans on bass, Taylor Stefanovicz on drums, and Erica Pratt on Keyboard.
Choking Hazard is a rock group and a Czech film - soundtrack was done by František Fuka.
Choking Hazard, the band
Currently, Choking Hazard is a four-piece rock group that specializes in catchy guitar hooks, creative rhythms, and includes an outstanding live performance. As of now, we are in the midst of booking our first Midwest tour and planning to stop in cities such as: St. Cloud, MN - Minneapolis, MN - Lacrosse, WI - Milwaukee, WI - Chicago, IL - Omaha, NE - Des Moines, IA - and lastly end our hometown of Fargo, ND/Moorhead, MN. If you are in any of these cities/and or want to play with us, CONTACT US NOW! We'd love to set up a show or swap shows with anyone.
In 2005, Choking Hazard had been interviewed and supported on 98.7 FM (Fargo, ND) and played a variety of shows. Our biggest accomplishment was a trip down to Missouri to play in a battle of the bands, which we finished, 8th out of over 700+ applicants. We've also played in a variety of public events including local battle of the bands, college orientations, and county fairs. Lastly, we've started the process of recording a new winter demo, which should be available to download in the upcoming months.
In past years, Choking Hazard has recorded 2-full length C.D's (Meet You at the Lodge (2004) and Cure for Your Dumbassity (2003)) both recorded in Mankato, MN. Meet You at the Lodgeis currently still available for purchase on our website.
Choking Hazard, the film
Film is a zombie horror comedy for people who sometimes wonder about the meaning of life or at least like properely prolapsed brain. Soundtrack was engineered by František Fuka, who composed the seventh track.
