First saw Chris play at Stainsby Folk Festival last year, love The Lark Descending, his music gives me goose bumps, the music and the lyrics are so emotional.

No shouts? For shame! Chris Wood is, in my opinion, the best writer and performer of "modern" folk material there is. Most folkies who try and pen their own stuff material either end up mimicking traditional material and sounding dreadfully twee, or manage to make their modern fables sound trite in comparison. Not so Chris. It's tremendously powerful stuff.
