He mostly listen to West Coast Hip Hop, Gangsta Rap, G-Funk, Corridos, Rancheras, ,Sierreño, Norteño, Banda and Mariachi before he was singer and before he was popular and before was famous. He was a big fan of 2pac, Eazy-E, N.W.A., Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too $hort, E-40, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Xzibit, Vicente Fernandez, Antonio Aguilar, Banda El Recodo, Banda Machos, Chalino Sanchez, Los Tigres Del Norte, Los Tucanes De Tijuana, Los Bukis, Los Temerarios and many more back in the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s
