Biography
Formed in late 2010, City Of Stars are a three-piece indie pop band from Belfast fronted by the vocal talents and hook-laden pop lyrics of Jess Willis combined with the experience of songwriter/producer Tyler Green, and backed up by the diverse electro-acoustic rhythms of drummer Tom Wilson. The band has been compared to such artists as Owl City, Ellie Goulding, The Postal Service and Robyn.
They released their first EP ‘Untrue’ in January 2012, and have spent the last few months promoting the record in a series of local gigs with bands like Futurescope, KamiKids and Colly Strings. They have been featured on Balcony TV Dublin, and recently BBC Across The Line’s ‘First Base’ segment.
They are currently working on a second EP for release this summer, and an accompanying music video.
