Biography
Clevetta (born Clevetta Fay Anthony, August 6, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter, producer from Nashville, TN. A 2010 high school graduate, who received numerous basketball scholarships, but rather than pick up another basketball after her graduation ceremony, she picked up her rhinestone embellished microphone and went into the studio. She teamed up with her uncle, the award winning, Montrel Darrett to create her unique sound, taking her first step in pursuing her singing career and she hasn’t stopped since.
Since graduation, Clevetta has performed at numerous local venues. She won the hearts of the Showtime at The Apollo audience in New York City, BET’s Blaze the Stage Talent Search in Jackson, TN, The Black Film Festival in Nashville, TN, and the Sweet Auburn Festival in Atlanta, GA. All of that since May 2010!
On January 19, 2011, Clevetta will take the stage, with her dancers to perform on BET’s 106 and Park’s, Wild Out Wednesday!
