Biography
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Clevis is a bass-drums-keyboards instrumental trio. The band began as a bass and drums experimental duo during Ken and John's high school days recording several demos, covers, and experimenting with different tools and equipment, in fact much of the later work incorporates various pedals and effects used in Ken's bass playing, as well as using a loop pedal to add more layers to the songs.
In 2006 the band moved to Los Angeles, and in 2009 added Chris Hurst on keyboards.
The artwork for the front cover of Amalgamation is from a painting done by Walt Hall (http://www.thesappystudio.com/), while the art for the inside panel is "The Mourner" from Chet Zar (http://www.chetzar.com/).
