Hello I've been away for a really long time (some among you probably weren't even born last time I posted here 😉). I just reconfigured my PC and found those Cocorosie beautiful live recordings from the 2007/2012 era. The links I posted 15 years ago are dead for long but if some of you are interested, I can post them again somewhere ☺️ Also I saw Cocorosie tonight (for the 1st time since 2016) in Paris, just two voices and Gael's piano, just pure, moving and beautiful. This means I have this new recording I'd be glad to share with you. Is Sendspace still working ? Any Idea of what platform I could use in 2024 ?

I am not familiar with a platform for easy and safe sharing, but I would love to have these recordings! If you find a way I would be happy if you'd let me know. :) Very kind of you to offer! I saw CocoRosie in Amsterdam last month, also just their voices and piano. It was magical.

Will they ever come to Australia (Don't tell me if they've already been; I was depressed for a long time lol.)

Insane how they used to be one of the biggest names in indie but after grey oceans they started sliding into obscurity and now no one knows them 💀

Fucking crazy queens, I can't verbally express how much I like them and their works and their whole aesthetic.

I'm looking for CocoRosie's bootleg "Rock en Seine Festival - Paris 2011.08.27". I downloaded if few years ago when there were groups on last.fm. Anyone has it and wants to share?

Seria meu sonhoooo)

Music on shuffle and "Terrible Angels" comes on, it's a memory of the first time I heard this band, and it's bittersweet. Such childish dreams... the lo-fi resonates through my soul, and I want to play with those circuit bent toys.

I was introduced to CocoRosie around 2011 thanks to a chilean girl whom I first established contact with through this site. With time, she ended up proving to me that one can indeed develop "feelings" for someone through music in despite of distance through time and space, which I think it´s amazing. It´s been a while since I last heard from her (I honestly think we all have memories of love gone bad for some reason, specially reasons we don´t have an idea about and we can´t really figure out), but every single time I listen to any CocoRosie´s song I´m instantly reminded of her. It aches as it soothes at the same time. So, given these circumnstances, CocoRosie´s music is to me like some sort of poison that also serves as a balsam to my soul. The girl may be gone, but her memory still wanders around like spasms.
